Awlhattin, I agree with you. I have noticed that liberal politicians and media are constantly slipping in comments claiming that republicans are racist (want dirty air and water,hate poor people, want to destroy social sec for the mere joy of hurting old people) . They do this even when it doesn't fit the conversation. I have made it part of my daily routine, as soon as one of these stupid, false claims come up I drop everything and address the slander. That's what all conservatives (and GOP politicians) should do. And we should do it very.aggressively. make people feel the sting when they tell the lie.

If the GOP wants to win more black votes, it will need to get a lot more "racist."

The scare quotes are necessary because I don't think the Republican Party is racist now (and, historically, the GOP has a lot less to answer for than the Democratic Party does).

But that hasn't stopped a lot of people from slandering Republicans as racist for one reason or another.
