Democracy and Majority Rule

Pagaymon is a case study on liberal tactic. Tell stupid lies so often people tire of refuting them, than tell them so often knowing folks ignore them and the foolish start believing them because no one argues against them any more.

I just went back and read Pagaymon's posts. He said we shouldn't put wars on a credit card. I agree. He said we shouldn't have created the prescription part B. I agree. We shouldn't have created No Child Left Behind. I agree. Republicans DID increased innumerable pork barrel spending project and Pagaymon and I are of the OPINION that we shouldn't have. He made factual statements and disagreed with the events that occurred under Bush. Please explain what he lied about rather than just saying he lied.

Actually, Matthew, I agree. Pagaymon's posts (plus other posts by the same person under different names) often bring up good points. The usual point is that Republicans overspend just as much or more than Democrats. Hard to disagree with that one.

Still, I don't like the idea of "spamming" the same posts to multiple articles. The idea of a message board like this is honest give-and-take, as I see it. "Spammers" are usually off-topic, and don't respond to honest questions.

Paulus: I usually stick to a very few columnists and didn't know pagaymon had been everywhere else today. However, I find it just as irritating that people out of hand just call him a liar and don't tell you what they disagree with (see Billpm).

Pagaymon is also one of many names for a single spam-producer. Best not to respond; it only encourages him/her. Townhall, however, has got to discover some way of identifying spam posters and quickly taking down their completely-off-topic posts.

Thanks for the reply paulus. You are correct, but i believe its a sad truth that the repeating of a lie is a liberal tactic that works. A case oin pt was D. Blabbermouth and others over and over called Romney extreme for standing up against murdering unborn children. Obamas position
President Barack Obama narrowly defeated Gov. Mitt Romney in the popular vote 51 percent to 48 percent. In the all-important Electoral College, the difference was larger, with Obama winning 303 electoral votes and Romney 206. Let's not think so much about the election's outcome but instead ask: What's so good about democracy and majority rule?

How many decisions in our day-to-day lives would we like to be made through majority rule or the democratic process? How about the decision to watch a football game or "Law and Order"? What about whether to purchase a Chevrolet Volt or a Toyota Prius? Would you...
