The Great Tax Divide

I'm disappointed. No mention of growing the economy; repatriating offshore businesses, jobs and money; reducing the tax gap by broadening the tax base to include illegals, foreign visitors and the shadow economy; incentivising savings and investment; untaxing the poor and providing them with a path out of their rut; disincentivising federal spending; permanently funding Social Security and Medicare based on an actuarily sound basis; eliminating the oppressive IRS; and returing the power of the purse strings from government to the people - all with the FairTax (HR25/S13). Is it that difficult to erase the brainwash that the income tax and the 16th Amendment have produced?

An Uncivil Income Tax System

The tax code is complicated and oppressive largely due to the efforts of tax lobbyists who buy tax favors for businesses trying to escape the highest corporate tax rate in the world. The FairTax (HR25/S13) will send those lobbyists scurrying from K Street to K-Mart looking for work. Don't just sit there...do something!http://www.fairtax.org/site/PageServer
