Lucky is illustrating for us the liberal playbook. Find a talking point (You're against redistribution? So that means you don't want to pay the military, firefighters, and police?) and stick to it no matter how easily it is refuted with logic. Unfortunately, this tactic works with way too many Americans.

It's a common liberal tactic. When faced with an argument they cannot hope to win on the facts, they desperately try to change the meaning of words so that capitalism includes state subsidies, redistribution includes funding the military, fascism is magically no longer uinderstood as a form of socialism, standard of living isnly an economic measure and can include all the touchy-feely BS they'd like to use to make the measure meaningless, etc.
The recently discovered tape on which Barack Obama said back in 1998 that he believes in redistribution is not really news. He said the same thing to Joe the Plumber four years ago. But the surfacing of this tape may serve a useful purpose if it gets people to thinking about what the consequences of redistribution are.
