Either have a devoted chat room where there's always a moderator on staff & on hand or tap some of the regular, conservative posters to act as moderators on an as need basis with the power to dump posts & / or posters if the need arises.
It wouldn't take long for word to get around in the progressive circles that TH had changed & they'd stop sending the spammers here or they'd stop coming on their own.
