Global warming evidently is THE threat to all of humanity and in the meantime, Iran is putting its harmless little arsenal of nukes together.
It's ironic how these things eventually work themselves out. Iran will eventually nuke the world's infidels and, voila! ... nuclear winter. Problem solved. Buy a warm coat.

Term limits anyone? This has been a joint effort by both parties. The Republicans blew an incredible opportunity to put free market principles to work when they controlled the whole ballgame for six years. Remember the promises to reform Social Security? Medical savings accounts...what happened to them? All that money and power just gets them giddy with self importance. That reaching across the aisle stuff isn't what it's cracked up to be. Conservatives need to reach across with the left hand, and throw a mean right cross with the other. Check out my You Tube link.

It's no longer just about politics. I say that because we all know people who say, "Oh I'm just not interested in politics."
It makes me crazy. Now I follow up with a question. How do you feel about self defense?
Each of us is under attack right now. Our families, our traditions, our freedoms are all in jeopardy. It just takes some a bit longer than others to feel backed against the wall enough to do something about it. I believe we're there now. Make abortion retroactive. Start with Congress in 2010.

When things like this begin to happen, if it's true, the writing is on the wall. Dissenters are not tolerated in their own party, and it's just a matter of time before these tactics are applied to the rest of us. For years, as average working Americans, we've trusted our elected officials to do the right thing. We just haven't been very good supervisors. We've created a ruling class of elites who now feel obligated to no one, and they're counting on that same political apathy to get their agenda of control enacted. There isn't any time left.
We must take our country back!

They are the two words that will solve many of our problems. The Contract With America couldn't get it down because we weren't loud enough, or should I say, demanding enough. What we're dealing with here are issues of our own self-defense. I'm referring to each of us and our families being threatened by arrogant, power-hungry politicians. We'll have to give the Republicans the reigns for a short-term fix, but begin to work at the grassroots level to form a more responsible conservative party to keep them in check. We must take our country back!

I can't wait for November!

It hasn't taken very long for Mr. Obama to show his true color (Red). But, many of us knew it all along. There are many religious American traditions that are held dear by even those of us how aren't very religious, Christmas being one of them. I don't like religion or humanism forced upon me. I'm a big boy and I can choose for myself thank you. I do believe that in 2010 a lot of folks are going to make those sentiments known. We take this freedom stuff seriously and we want our country back.
I would love to see conservative independents start winning seats in the House and Senate, and eventually become a force to be reckoned with. This reaching across the aisle cronyism has put us in the mess we're in today. Term limits should be a list-topper of ways to fight rampant corruption, and we should steadfastly insist that it be enacted. The Contract With America couldn't get it done. Republicans had complete control for 6 years and dropped the ball big time. They've learned a lesson for the short term, but it's up to us to remain vigilant as responsible citizens.

I can't wait until November. In the meantime, I'm screaming at my tv. We have an arrogant group of political elites in Washington right now who don't care what we want, led by the most unqualified man we've ever had in the White House. The statement concerning Carbon emissions indicates how dangerous this administration is.

I'm not happy with the current administration, but I thank them for an incredible breakthrough. Citizens now realize their responsibility for keeping a close eye on elected officials. The average citizen wasn't interested in budgets, health care reform, cap and trade, etc. But now, it's becoming too obvious to ignore the fact that elections have consequences attached to them. These days, when folks get curious, information is a mouse click away. I look forward to November when we take our country back. Hear the clicks? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofbyjnO93y0
