New York Passed a Gun Control Law So They Could See What Was in It

judging by the incredible recklessness of the two NYC police officers who were far closer to their target than I ever am, they need all those round just to make sure they hit what they are aiming at. Contrast that with the civilian in the Clakamas Mall who had the drop on the shooter but had the presence of mind to notice there were innocent bystanders down range in the event he missed and that is why he didn't fire. I realize they needed to take this guy down but judicious marksmanship is critical in a crowded environment.

I hear the same thing over and over again from liberals about how well trained police officers and about how well they can shoot. Well the facts don't back them up. There's a better chance that you could get shot and killed by a police officer than by an armed civilian but liberals think your better off if your not armed at all. Liberal logic at work.

Earlier this week, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo rushed to sign sweeping and extremely restrictive gun control legislation into law. Negotiations were made behind closed doors in the middle of the night, debate was rushed, public input was ignored and the votes were taken. The legislation that was passed only allows New York residents to carry seven bullets in a maximum ten round magazine at a time and requires gun registration. The problem? Cuomo didn't read the bill and failed to notice legislators forgot to exempt law enforcement.

A troubling oversight has been found within New York...
