The only point worth consideration is that our hopelessly dishonest, misleading and fractured government is not very good at lying and would be far worse had mainstream media not offered them comfort, solace and freedom from the truth.
I think we need to install head-soaking tubs in most institutes of higher propagandizing as truth and rational thought are almost always absent...that way when these experts at shooting off at the mouth are told to go soak their feverish heads, the walk won't be too long. If these folks were at lofty in their thoughts as they pretend, why are they all silent about the carnage that is a nightly occurrence in our major cities - in Chigago in 2012, over 500 killed......or is the lack of concern existing because the victims were usually black teens shot by other black teens?

An Open Letter to Mitt Romney

Like McCain, your tepid campaign did not excite the people. There were points of national concern that you glossed over. Those who managed your effort might as well have been working for Obama - so poor was their staging effort. Add the fact that the Paul supporters stayed home and the election was lost because the GOP simply does not lnow how to campaign.
The truly sad aspect of it all is that Americans are accepting the lie if it is told my their favorite people. Truth gets lost in the process and with a media circus seemingly looking for things they can cover up, it is America that suffers through inability to know what is really happening in Washington. The financial mess can be poinned on certain individuals yet, because those are people of the party preferred by the media, all America suffers and the main two varlets escape with nary a slap on the wrist.
Translation : Liberals prefer to give through excessive taxation so the bloated government may continue to support those who are content to take from our America. Conservatives seem to prefer to give to designated charities so that their funds may provide a direct aid to those really in need.....to respond directly to catastrophy no matter where it strikes and to be there with a helping hand where it is really needed. The bottom line, support the really needy or support those made into leeches...who exist to suck the blood out of all of us.
Ohio is well known for mainstream media that have never been in the room with objective truth. With freedom to lie as they see fit, Ohio media are helping lie to the citizens and with a reasonably heavy union presence in the state, don't look for objectivity here.
Pity this poor man. If he had a brain, it would be lonely inside of that colossal vacuum on top of his neck - in fact, if his brain were to be magnified three million times, it would rattle about like a BB in an expty boxcar.

National Anthem is an "Abomination"

Bill3610 Wrote: Jun 06, 2012 8:59 PM
The anthem is not tuneless at all - it is strong and heroic as befits the battle at Ft. McHenry when the British finally came to know they had lost and America would be free. The words tell the story. Leave it alone..it works. If singers cannot sing it well, there are many who can sing it correctly - use them. If you dislike it, treat yourself to ear plugs or, perhaps, try another country where their national song will lull you into a state of blissful complacency.. This is America, Americans are like no others. Americans formed this nation to provide its people freedoms never known throughout the world. Our government even tolerated those who seek change - that is what freedom is all about.
