riffraff, Get your head out of the sand. It is not between guns and butter. We are paying more in interest on the money that we are borrowing to run these loser social programs that are corrupt, inefficient and do not work. Why do you think our political class, yes Obama is part of that class, vote themselves out of all these wonderful programs.

I'm all in favor of reducing social programs. Liberal progressives whine about the cost of the military, the waste and abuse by the military-industrial complex but do you hear any of them complain about the luxury or fraud, waste, and abuse in social programs?
