USPS: Where The Customer Is Always Last

Bill2768 Wrote: 1 hour ago (12:26 PM)
Exactly! The USPS has been "independent" since then, but all employees are FEDERAL employees, with FEDERAL pensions, and the US Taxpayer is on the hook for billions of dollars earmarked to operate the USPS annually. If the USPS were truly a private corporation (not propped up by the government), they would have disappeared in bankruptcy 3 decades ago!

And my monitor has come unplugged (because I kicked it), so I have to call tech-support (after my coffee break) and then wait for a gov't approved electrician to be dispatched and drive 100 miles to plug it back in...

Legislation Introduced to Eliminate ATF

Bill2768 Wrote: Sep 17, 2014 3:49 PM
Yes, and then the FBI and DEA get the money which was supposed to go to the ATF (so they can continue to support, expand and/or at least retain the newly expanded number of employees without hurting their existing budgets). Net savings (ever) = ZERO! Disband and eliminate means just what it says... moving these people to another department is like firing the upstairs maid because you moved to a one-level home, but keeping her on as an additional cook. These ATF employees, if they are worthy of law enforcement jobs, will have no problems finding jobs at state or local levels. Isn't PA looking for qualified State Troopers? Isn't every sheriff's department in the US looking for at least ONE GOOD COP or administrator to be added to their forces? I'm pretty sure there's more than 5,000 vacancies in state or local departments, without rolling these employees into jobs with the FBI or DEA (further bloating their budgets)!!
Grimes is a typical democrat... she is NOT moderate, she is deep-down, do as I say, not as I do, nanny-state, utopia-building, control-monger LIBERAL. Her stance on KY is to continue to destroy the coal-industry, rob you of your 1st and 2nd amendment rights, and further the socialist/communist agenda to destroy America through the public indoctrination... er... education system and expansion of welfare and (illegal) immigration amnesty. Do I care for McConnell? NO, but you can rest-assured I'll be pulling the lever for him this November! Anyone who believes her well-staged adverts should probably be committed, or at least placed under observation for mental illness... oh, that's right... Liberalism IS a mental illness... :) Yes, she shoots well, but that is what happens when you pay an instructor thousands of dollars and a film-crew for a day of filming and editing to get 30-seconds of "gold"!!
Could it be because she's a gold-digger, and saw the million-dollar light at the end of the tunnel? People are people, and greed is greed... and greedy people will put up with a LOT of abuse to get the all-mighty-dollar in their pocket, lavish houses, cars, clothes, etc! I don't know either of them personally, nor do I care to... If the NFL disappeared off the planet tomorrow, I'd never notice... The NFL is a breeding ground for thugs, crooks, and abusers... always has been, always will be, and those that worship the sport are only fueling the problem, IMO!
Planned parenthood "agents" frequently provide links to porn websites to their teen-age "clients". Why does this shock anyone? I would not be surprised if PP is not BEHIND the website, or at least sold the URL, knowing full well that it would be turned to porn. Just another side-ways move to get porn into the schools (because the PP site is/was NOT blocked, like TownHall or any conservative sites are)

America at the Tipping Point (Part 1)

54% according to the latest numbers... sad, so sad, that more people are on the government dole than are providing for the "welfare nation".
It's all about welfare and "lottery winning"... The fine print of this is not equality of job or equality of job performance... they want PA to pay all those who apply, regardless of passing or not (show up, fill out a form, get paid). By flooding the system with obviously unqualified applicants, they use those numbers to lower the bar even further (because the bar is based on average performance of applicants); thus creating a situation where virtually anyone can pass and qualify (or get paid if you don't). Then, when the PA State Police is nothing more than bunch of incompetent, incapable sloths, the Feds can swoop in and take over! What's next, Eric? Gonna (sue) tell Google or Apple they have to lower their standards of employment to accept people that don't know the difference between a CAT-5 cable and a USB, because it would be discriminating against tech-illiterate folks, and depriving them of gainful, high-dollar employment?
And people wonder why I don't have a FaceBook page or MySpace, or any of these social networking troll-monger pages.... If any of my "friends" want to know if I'm alive, if I bought a new car, have a new dog, or want to see pictures of my kids... they know where I live!

Check Inn Charges

Bill2768 Wrote: Aug 28, 2014 8:20 AM
I've stayed in $30/night motels and $300/night posh hotels, and "fees" are becoming the norm for all of them, more-so for high-end hotels and corporate-travel-chains. On a recent business-trip, my corporate card was charged an additional $20 fee for "coffee-maker cleaning", because I actually had the audacity to USE the complimentary coffee-maker in my room (which I could have bought for $5 at any Wal-mart) during my week-long stay! What's next? Fees for "pillow fluffing" because you actually slept in the bed??
