So, GE senior execs are on record as liking and being in favor of all of the regulation? I never said that a company doesn't try to take advantage of any competitive position it has, but once again, plesae point me to the senior executive quotes about wanting more regulation to squash smaller business. That is the basic premise of the college business book puke and what is taught in the colleges. It is all class warfare.

Other than the socialist bent professors, can you point me to any senior company executives who are on the record as LIKING all of the regulation? I've heard this class warfare garbage for years. It is nothing but college propaganda. And I deal with large companies all the time and frequently interact with their senior level leadership. I've only ever heard complaints from them about over regulation. And while they have greater abiltiy to deal with the regulation they don't like it either.

I do large enterprise software systems for a living. Over the years I've done 3 pharma projects and they are HORRIBLE! I charge a premium for doing their projects because of the MASSIVE compliance headaches and the total nightmare for FDA (i.e. government) "validation" requirements. These very expensive projects cost at least 2, if not 3 or 4 times as much as other clients who are NOT as regulated. And some of the regulations are needed but the VAST majority of the regulations are pure bureaucratics stupidity. So, GET THE STINKING GOVERNMENT OUT OF INDUSTRY! My quesiton is this: The CURRENT U.S. Federal Government is bigger than ALL of the top 33 Fortune 100 companies gross revenue. And since the government produces nothing but...

CHANGE the stinking debate! Stop addressing the defensive response (i.e. trying to "save" Medicare) and start going on the Offense. The BIG LIE of the Democrats is they are trying to BANKRUPT Medicare! And in turn cause a total collapse of the entire system!! Put the Democrats on the defensive to address how THEY will "save" Medicare. Change the debate from defending a program that is designed to save the system to what will the other side do to STOP THE PENDING BANKRUPTCY!

The Lacrosse situation was NOT "reverse racism" it was a plain, simple accepted LAWYER and LEGAL system tactic of men are ALWAYS guilty when accused by a woman. So, to reiterate a previous point, you don't believe the government is big enough. It currently consumes MORE than the entire gross revenue of the top 33 Fortune 100 companies. You know, all those "greedy" corporations but somehow the bloated government isn't "greedy." And worse still, it consumes MORE than 100% of ALL of the PROFIT from ALL of the Fortune 1000 companies combined. --------------------- So, again I ask, how much bigger do you want that "greedy" government to be? How much more should it take?

So Charles, essentially you're saying that the Government is not big enough. It doesn't have enough money and so needs to take more... I think I got the liberal mentality. So, when the Government has taken EVERYTHING and is completely bankrupt (in the next few years) what then?
