Donjindra your comment about what difference between the Waffen SS and Regular German Army could be taken as a slap to honorable American Veterans: did you ever served?

That makes no sense. What does an American Vet have to do with internal Nazi ideological motivation?

Regular German Army were for the most part professional soldiers: like the American Military.

Your ignorant comment is an insult to any honorable discharged veteran: including Americans.

The regular German Army was a machine built by the Nazis. It was 100% controlled by the Nazis. Those "God With Us" slogans were a Nazi idea. Don't pretend otherwise.

No I didn't serve. I graduated HS in 1972. The war was over. Who cares?

But I already had a full 4 year athletic scholarship. I already knew how to discipline myself. The tedious USAF Academy 24 hour per day supervision didn't appeal to me.

BELFAST, Northern Ireland -- Here, where Titanic, the massive White Star Line luxury liner, was built -- the joke for years has been, "It was fine when it left here." This year marks the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the ship "Not even God himself could sink...." and the centenary is being observed in diverse ways.

There are solemn remembrances. A "Requiem for the Lost Souls of the Titanic" is scheduled for St. Anne's Cathedral and there's a Titanic Commemoration Service and Unveiling of the Titanic Memorial Gardens at City Hall.
