The backscatter scanners produce graphically explicit images of nude people including children. This is an element of the issue that is being systematically ignored by the media, isn't it? It is certainly against society norms to take nude pictures of people including children without their willful, non-coerced and informed consent. With children consent is not even legally possible. And let's be clear about something else, can anyone seriously contend that the danger is so great that we must allow the government to create and view nude images of children every day on a vast scale?
