I had a stroke in 2003 that almost killed me and effectively ended my working career. In conversations with my neurologist I found out that the main reason for the high costs of specialty medicine is that malpractice insurance is unreasonably high. This was 2003 and he was paying 400K a year for insurance. The Democratic Party is heavily supported by the trial lawyers and they won't pick a fight with them, even Howard Dean candidly admitted this at a publicized event. Enough said, tort reform is a dead issue.

Glenn does get carried away sometimes, as does Rush, but they have one thing in common, neither one has ever said anything that the vast majority of Americans disagree with. They are both Right and so is the country.

If he has a real birth certificate then he should just release it and stop all this drama. The fact that Obama lawyered up to stop anyone from seeing his birth and school records, which should be publicly available to any citizen raises a certain amount of scepticism amongst a large number of Americans. George Bush graduated with honors from Yale, got a MBA from Harvard and became a pilot in the air national guard which is an honor that is not given to anybody regardless of who their Daddy is. I didn't like him because he didn't protect our borders and he spent like a Democrat. He is still a better American than the Socialist clown that is the current occupant and his cabal.

Gates has spent his entire pampered life taking advantage of being black to get himself educated through affirmative action. Sound familiar Obama and Sotomayor? He is a race baiter of the lowest order just like Jackson and Sharpton. When I was 10 years old I knew better than to talk back or defy a police officer, not because I was afraid of the Law it was because my father would have severely disciplined me for such behavior. All American children should be taught to respect authority. Too bad people that have norespect for it are glorified in this society like BillAyers and Obama. I'm a retired union Democrat now in Oregon. I thought the reason I wanted to leave California was smog, traffic and a preponderance of illegal aliens. Now I have realized it was Boxer, Pelosi and Feinstien. I always resented the fact my union dues went to support a parade of Liberal Democrats. We didn't have the choice when I was a union worker. There is no politician that I hold in lower regard than Pelosi. No one in her entire family has ever worked a day in their life. The entire clan has spent their time at the public trough. That is the most insightful article I have read since the Republicans gave away the election by nominating a weak moderate for the election.I'm a retired, union Democrat that voted for Sarah Palin, not McCain. The country is definitely Conservative by any measure. The MSM glorified this current occupant to extreme with the worst vetting job ever of a candidate for the highest office in the land and we are paying the price now. He's one and done! I am a retired union Democrat. I'm not some right wing nutcase. If his birth certificate is legit why doesn't he just produce it. He is heavily lawyered up at taxpayer expense to keep his proof of legitimacy sealed along with his school records. No previous President has ever gone to this extent to mask his past, why such extraordinary precautions if he's not hiding something sinister. Until this is resolved I will only vote for Republicans, Bush's documents were a matter of public record, why not Obama's?

I hired and fired people for years, when I was still in the workforce. Now I'm retired and reflect that the married guys were always far more responsible and dependable. It seemed that when it was crunch time and you needed guys to be there, you could never count on the single guys to show up. They all had a penchant for oversleeping or not feeling well when I really needed them. If I had it to do over I would only hire married men, for sure.

I'm a retired union Democrat that has listened to Rush for many years. I hear his show referred to as hate-spewing? Rush wants everyone to succeed, not like the left-wing media that denigrates all things Conservative. Sometimes Rush does get a bit over-wrought on certain topics that he is passionate about, but I can't say I have heard him say anything that I don't agree with. The left can't stand him or Sarah because they are real people!
