I disagree; Not "we deserve", rather "they deserve". The "they" is the "establishment" RINO's. They have shut out the grassroots for years and forced their neocons on us. It's time we pick our own candidates,---starting now. my starting list would be choices like Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Rick Perry, Governor Johnson, Senator DeMint, Rand Paul,etc. Give us your top pick(s).

I'm with you on Bachmann. This country would do well to elect an "Iron Lady" in the mold of Maggie Thatcher. I believe she would have drawn at least as many votes as Romney did from blacks, hispanics and white men. And she would have hugely out-performed Romney with women, which would have won the election for her.
Wednesday wasn’t “good morning” in the GOP. President Obama won a second term. Republicans deserve the shellacking we got because the party of Lincoln is running candidates in 2012 like it’s 1860. Old white men just don’t cut it anymore and are not reflective of the changing demographics of the country. America is browning up not whitening up, as evidenced by the US Census findings that minorities will make up 54% of the population by the year 2050.
