What's missed in the comments heretofore is the capacity of the 2014 Mid-term Congress to do damage to the Atrocious Care Act. Much is said about Obama's veto; but a veto can be overridden. Change the rules as Pelosi did; manipulate the count as Reid has recently done. But make it so. As noted below by "Don't tread on me3' -- The Dems did all they could and should not have to foist the Act on the American Taxpayer, even lying before the Supreme Court-it's a TAX, it's a FINE, it's whatever need to say it is. Do whatever it takes to get the Federal Rulers out of our lives!

Harry Reid's Dementia? No. Deception!

To be honest, I think you're right...
A big "maybe" in this article, but a huge 'at what cost'-- "About two-thirds of employers reported responding to the higher costs by taking >lower profitsreduced or delayed business investment.passed the costs onto employees 37 percent froze or reduced wages30 percent raised the employee cost share for healthcare30 percent raised their selling prices less investment in the kinds of things one would hope would occur to expand the economyplan to cut the hours of part-time workers< next year, but that at most half of those cuts related to the healthcare law -
LAS VEGAS SUN By Karoun Demirjian Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 | 2 a.m. But already, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is predicting those (exchange) plans, and the whole system of distributing them, will eventually be moot. Reid said he thinks the country has to “work our way past” insurance-based health care during a Friday night appearance on Vegas PBS’ program “Nevada Week in Review.” “What we’ve done with Obamacare is have a step in the right direction, but we’re far from having something that’s going to work forever,” Reid said. When then asked by panelist Steve Sebelius whether he meant ultimately the country would have to have a health care system that abandoned insurance as the means of accessing it, Reid said: “Yes, yes. Absolutely, yes.”
How is our current Federal oversight so different than Sharia Law? Nothing can be done which is in conflict with the FEDERAL belief. No private or personal opinions can be voiced in the government arena for fear of reprisal. Personal choice and liberty have been abolished in the choice of health insurance and health providers. Outward signs of belief contrary to FEDERAL mandate like crosses, prayer and Bible study sessions (Christian) create an 'adverse' environment. And on and on. Substitute sharia for FEDERAL.

The truth is not reality in Politics: it's who you can make believe your lie. BHO has run slash and lie campaigns in and since Illinois. Axe-the-rod is a professional at demeaning opponents and diminishing facts as in the most recent campaign. The best we can hope for is bolstering the backbone of conservative legislators to stand on principle.
Modern? another word for Progressie? If you don't like the STOP Sign now, do you opt not to Stop? If you think GREEN is a Bad Color, do you Stop and wait for Red? The Constitution, Stupid, is still the law of the land. Change the law--it's in the plan to do so. Buy-off Americans with Baubles and Beads...voters deserve other peoples' money. The Constitution was conceived to combat a strong, controlling central govt (King Geo III) and politicians have been watering it down in the last 100 years in the name of 'personal responsibility'? Posh..in the name of buying votes. . And I'll put down my gun when they put down theirs. Renaissance--value of the individual--wasn't taught in the Middle East.

America will survive this Presidency, just as it did Jimmy Carter's. I just hope those voting for Obama and living under the ACA/Obamacare enjoy the America Big O envisions.
