As a veteran of Silicon Valley layoffs, I can tell you that one never stops looking for work unless you are planning on marrying Madonna.
In my experiences, you just can't spend day after day, week after week, looking and looking and getting no positive feedback for weeks.
You have to break away, take a drive down the coast, or dabble in a hobby for a few weeks to break the tension, come up with new ideas, and generate some positive self-talk.
It's a cycle that has to be refreshed every 4-6 weeks.

Why not prohibit government unions from contributing to political campaigns?
