Sore Winners

I continue to be impressed by the difference in posts between the conservative and the liberal forums. I learn a great deal from the posts I see here in TownHall as most of them tend to be thoughtful and well-reasoned. Ms. Charen is spot on when she refers to sore winners. Take a few minutes and check out the liberal forums and you'll see nasty, snarky comments from people like Jack5894 aimed at demonizing those with whom they disagree.

I'd be glad to lead you through a litany of right wing tackiness, if you feel like it.

That anybody who thinks liberals are more snarky than conservatives, or vice versa, is a moron. As is anyone who thinks the posts on TH are well written and informative.

I read the Huffington Post from time to time. Believe me, the vitriol gets deep over there, and I don't mean the thought behind it, either...

Sotomayor. A wise Latina................................
Post-election season is a time for healing, for putting aside the rancor of a long campaign and rediscovering what unites us. It has not been that way this year.

Prudence, one would think, if not generosity of spirit, should impel Democrats to be magnanimous in victory. Romney did receive about 48 percent of the vote. A little modesty among the winners would seem to be in order.

Instead, the gloating has been extravagant. Worse, liberals have gorged themselves on the same junk food they enjoyed during the campaign and cannot seem to resist under any circumstances -- slandering their opponents....
