It is time for a third party and to abandon the emasculated republicans. The have lost their backbone. They treat the conservatives like the democrats treat the blacks. It is hard to convince the nation we are broke and all this " Santa Claus " government will do is make the coming collapse that much harder. Rather than fight for what is good for America and Americans the GOP is trying to see where they need to go to get more votes. Does that equate to more goodies for the minorities ? It seems to work for the democrats.

You are right. It is well past time to abandon the GOP. We need a party that actually puts the good of the nation first.

President Barack Obama and his team also understand the phrase and are using it to their advantage. They are making a full-court press in the public arena to lay out their argument against sequestration and for more taxes.
