I have two points. The first is that the California ballot propositions are nothing but special interest issues put up to the voters to change the California Constitution which has proven time and time again to be nothing more than pork barrel politics. Second, California is an excellent example of what happens when a state become essentially a one party state. With the democrats in control there is no balance in government and only liberal policies are enacted to the increasing damage to the state. High taxes, too many regulations that drive the producers out of the state, the list goes on and on.

If the world without a strong American economy struggles, so too does an America without a strong California economy. 

The Golden State, which once represented the promise of America, is mired in swampland of broken promises, graft, political stupidity and liberal fantasy.

And if California represents the very best government that liberals can give us- and it likely does- then this country had better take a deep breath and step away from progressive math.

Because, it just doesn’t add up.
