node continues to make these erroneous and irrelevant arguments which were destroyed yesterday. Being a liberal, node is simply not intelligent enough for these matters and is genetically incapable of learning. That is why we must silence the liberals in this country and allow the Constitution to reign supreme.

you've proven wrong and a fool.

Please stop; it's embarrassing.

nodeamass, the 2d Amendment read, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

The People (as in "We the People) insisted on this amendment. Who did they think was going to 'infringe' upon their right to bear arms?

You're pretty quick to throw these citations around when Mo is away, aren't you? But you ignore the PA constitution which uses identical wording in 1776 to explicitly include self-defense, so your point is invalidated regardless of what you cite.
Your precedent cases could easily go the way of Plessy v. Ferguson, and you can't ignore the unambiguous meaning of the phrase "...shall not be infringed."
Sorry, just more yellow snow.

The issue in this case was state versus federal authority over the National Guard. The Court held that, under the "militia clauses" of the Constitution (in Article I, Section 8), Congress may authorize the President to order members of a state National Guard to engage in training exercises outside the U.S. without the consent of the state governor. The NRA, in a brief amicus curiae, asked the Court to find that the National Guard is not the "militia,

No, node knows all this. He is just operating under that saying made famous by Josef Goebbels(assuming node even knows who that was):: "a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth".
On Christmas Eve, seven people were shot in the city of Chicago. The media made little mention of the shootings, since they're now routine in Chicago -- the city has seen some 500 shootings in 2012 alone. The vast majority of the shooters are black, and the vast majority of the victims are black. Many of the victims are under the age of 18: Anton Sanders, 15, shot on Jan. 20; Deshun Winfert, 15, shot on Feb. 5; Damion Rolle, 14, shot on Feb. 21; George Howard and Albert Guyton, both 15, shot on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28; the list...
