As much as I love Ransom, he missed on this one. The article assumes that Obama's purpose for a Dept of Business is to promote business. Let us not forget that Obama speaks newspeak and doublespeak and every other Orwellian language derivative. The purpose of a new Dept of Business would be to STOP business, not promote it. If you start with the premise of stopping business, then Ransom's article accurately points out the end result of Obama's proposal. I especially like the knee pads reference.

That's right. His entire agenda is to strangle business. Remember his agenda is not to build the U.S., but to ruin it. Communism is to divide the people, one group against another, put a strangle-hold on growth of business and commerce, put restrictions on Churches and continue to put more people on welfare so the government controls every phase of our lives. Communism is his agenda.

the Communists of the USSR called themselves "progressives",the communists of Red China call themselves "progressives",communists of Central and South America call themselves "progressives".Communists worldwide call themselves "progressives".
So,"progressive" DOES equal socialist/communist.
socialism is the first, necessary step to communism.
But people make too much about minor differences in definitions, when essentially and practically speaking, socialism IS communism.

Not promoting; controlling. Pure economic fascism.

As I was logging in, you took the words right out of my keyboard. :-0)

As the clock heads toward midnight on the Barack Obama experiment, it’s nice to see that he continues to be the guy we said he was all along. I’m beginning to doubt he was even any good at being a community organizer.

After churning over all the options available to him- using the full-faith and credit of the United States; a one billion dollar campaign war-chest; $37 million in staffing costs at the executive office per year; a trillion dollars in pork barrel spending; QE4EVER!; recommendations from Nobel-prize winning economists (ha!), the top business experts that political contributions can buy...
