The sad part of this is there will be no accountibility here, all the major left-wing liberal prime time players have pulled an Elvis and left the building or are leaving. The leadership in downtown New London were too busy handing out noise citations to Taxpayers who will now have to shoulder the increased tax burden to come.
So, anyone out there in the market for brand spanking new 8 year old waterfront buildings with a nice view of a Chemical Corporation's Research Facility please call the NLDC of New London, Connecticut and ask for Claire. Oh! wait a minute I think she's gone too.

Strong-arm, power politics — how long does it take self-proclaimed “caring” folks to learn that such tactics cannot lead to their promised peaceful, loving utopia?

New London, Connecticut, was ruled by a cadre of allegedly well-intentioned movers and shakers, the kind of people who believe that politics is a way to “get things done.” This group of Democratic Party loyalists concocted a scheme to take a “blighted” neighborhood, the Fort Trumbull area, and turn it into a clean, bright, shiny complex of businesses, featuring biotech firms and the might Pfizer.
