I hate to say it but the firing of Inspector General Walpin was a no-brainer for President Barry.
To begin with the IG doesn't play basketball, but that doesn't mean he would not have been fired. You don't mess with BPOTUS' basketball friends no matter what they do, and one of the main reasons the media ignored the firing, other than the huge double standards that exist between Democrats and Republicans is the fact that the Mr. Walpin was proud of America before Michelle Obama was.

Back in 2008, New York Times correspondent David S. Rohde, along with Afghan reporter Taki Luden, were abducted in Pakistan by the Taliban. Because they felt it might adversely affect hostage rescue efforts, the Times requested a news black-out. The Associated Press and other news agencies respected the request and only broke the story recently, after Rohde and Luden had scaled a wall and made their escape.
