I am no fan of thugs or wannabes in professional sports, but NBA Commissioner David Stern is making Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas a scapegoat for Stern's own past inaction in dealing with violence among NBA players. Stern announced this week that he was indefinitely suspending Arenas, saying that Arenas "is not currently fit to take the court in an NBA game."

Don't Take Cues from Al Sharpton
He pressures Stern to suspend Mr. Arenas, now Mr. Arenas has to go to Broadway Al to curry favor kinda like how Imus had to during the Rutgers Women Basketball fiasco.
Thus Mr. Arenas will surely have to "quietly donate" some cash into one of Broadway Al's many "charities and action networks".
It's basically a ghetto version of the Obama Joe the Plumber principles of spreading the wealth around, it's called "giving ends to your friends" which in itself is a euphemism for giving back to the community.
