Of the 73 men that earn a college degree only 19 are Black Americans. Of the 100 women who earn a degree 43 are Black Americans.
By the same token out of every 100 men who drop out of college 78 are Black Americans while for every 100 women who drop out of college 62 are Black Americans.
If the Civil Rights Commission is looking for a new mandate then they should take their own stats to heart and come up with new programs to stem the drop out rate among minorities by getting rid of Affirmative Action and Admission quotas or just cut to the chase and open Hip-Hop and Piimp and Hoe Universities.

The U.S. Civil Rights Commission (yes, it's still around and yes, it's outlived its usefulness) is about to subtract from national wisdom about college admissions by focusing on exactly the wrong problem.

The commission has undertaken an inquiry to determine whether colleges may be discriminating against female applicants. The question turns on whether admissions officers, in an attempt to maintain rough gender parity on campuses, are putting a thumb on the scale in favor of underrepresented male applicants, thus disadvantaging the more qualified females.
