What "social issues" are you talking about? I took Jonah to be referring to abortion, gay marriage, drugs, conscience of religion, etc. I DID NOT take Jonah to be referring to "govt compassion" which translates into fiscal lunacy. And since I'm on it, Jonah talks about paying in to Medicare 1/3 of what one gets out of it. Is this in CONSTANT dollars, have you ignored inflation? ...and if I put x dollars into investments over 30-40 years, I'd expect it to be worth three times what I put in. ...and if I put in x dollars over 30-40 years, and some scum polticians spent it on handouts, so that when I'm due, it's gone, who is to blame? The voters who elected these yahoos.

But whatever specific name you go by, Bob, you know who you are. You're the sort of person who says to his conservative friends or co-workers something like, "I would totally vote for Republicans if they could just give up on these crazy social issues."
