John, So we all know this, but you are not reaching the useful idiots. Somehow you need to get CBS, TIME, WaPo and Current to carry this message. Right. If all those parents are clamoring for school choice, why are they still voting the destroyers in?

Of course, those media outlets never will; however, the RNC could find a leader that will take the message to the people through 30-60 second public service announcements (aka commercials) and even buy some air time for 30 minute tv specials. There should be a two-year education campaign by the RNC leading up to the 2014 election (and beyond). I'm not holding my breath.

If you are one of the folks who voted for Barack Obama in the last election, what did you vote for? More generally, if you voted for any liberal politician, what did you vote for?

Here are three things for starters: (1) no reform of the public schools, (2) no reform of the welfare system, and (3) no reform of labor market institutions that erect barriers between new entrants and good jobs.

How can I be so certain? Because the teachers unions, the welfare bureaucracy and all the other unions form the base of the Democratic Party. At least they are...
