I don't think this president has any intention of putting "Humpty Dumpty" back together again. He needs his portion of the divided America to help him in 2014. His Ideology needs this second term for completion. There will be much Stonewalling and whining and justifying and excusing, but in the end, we will se a fractured Nation, just worse off than today.

Indeed it will be worse, especially as socialized medicine is jammed into the fabric and fiber of America, breaking its spine once and for all. There is not a happier man on the planet than this president, who is now free to complete his transformation of the country he has for so long sought to punish.

Barack Obama won a moderately close victory over Mitt Romney on Tuesday. But oddly, nothing much has changed. The country is still split nearly 50/50. There is still a Democratic president, and an almost identically Democratic Senate at war with an identically Republican House, in a Groundhog Day America.

Obama's win did not really reflect affirmation of his first term, given that the president made only halfhearted efforts to defend Obamacare, the stimulus, huge Keynesian deficits and his attempts to implement cap-and-trade. So if there is a second-term agenda, even Obama supporters don't quite know what it will be.
