With all due respect that old Plymouth he rode in was not a V6. I was most likely an I6, or inline 6. The V6 configuration didn't come into common usage until the 70's.

Frack to the Future

I just returned home from the Bakken formation in Western ND today in fact. The combination of fracking and horizontal drilling has produced massive oil production, with a minimal footprint. They now drill down close to 2 miles, well below any aquifir, and then go sideways to get the oil. One small well site, the size of a large suburban yard, is producing huge amounts of oil. On the economic side, there are jobs everywhere and not just in the oilfield. The growth has trickled down to every industry to the point that construction is booming beyone belief and it is possible to get 15 dollars per hour working fast food, some with a signing bonus. Gee, it's funny how capitalism works; people seem to do well!
McCain and Graham Of course are mad because it is now widely apparent that they are irrelevant, and everyone knows that they are complicit in taking our country down the road to ruin. They of course don't see this yet, but in time they will, even if they won't publicly admit it. I appreciate Mr. McCain's military service, and obvious extreme sacrifice, but that does not excuse him for not seeing what is going on in the country.

Boehner: Goal Is Not to Shut Down Government

I agree. Goal should be to cut government, not shut it down. Unfortunately John Boehner is so weak he gets up in the morning, looks in the mirror and starts trembling. It's too bad our choice as citizens is between terrible, and those not as terrible, just because they don't realize it yet...

Boehner: This is a Stalemate

I will not apologize to Ron Paul and Gary Johnson (my hometown too, incidentally) as they push to addict our kids as well as adults to drugs. I'm with them on most everything else but when they turn into drug pushers and glorifying drug use, they lose me and millions of others completely. We need less drugs, not politicians that glorify and push drug use like Ron Paul and Gary Johnson.
Why is McConnell laughing. Apparently he hasn't figured out how BHO operates yet. Either we get some Republican leadership that understands whats going on or else. McConnell acts like he has a say. Does he not understand what's going on? We are in a whole new era of political warfare. Time for him and Boehner to wake up.

Proclaiming Liberty in Central Pennsylvania

This is a great idea. It's essentially the electoral college at the state level, to protect the smaller towns. Excellent point.

That's good, but I can't even fathom the damage that Obama will unleash. Romney received somewhere around 3MM less votes than McCain. I wonder how many of the Ron Paul worshippers either sat out, or voted for someone else like spoiled brats because they didn't get their way...... If so, you made a point, and we'll all pay the price. Romney may not be my perfect candidate, but he's a hell of a lot better than Obama.
