It appears that "reasonable" is worn out and they're using "sensible" now. Problem is they, believe New York City laws are sensible. Just imagine, Michael Bloomberg running everything.
Just lots of people raped, stabbed or beaten to death.
Just lots of people raped, stabbed or beaten to death.
Unfortunately there is no shortage of fools believing that Ed Schultz's ranting is the gospel truth, but it's not surprising, when you consider what Jim Jones was able to do. Liberal leaders and commentators are exploiting the same sort of weak minds sought out by every despotic conman throughout history.
"Slavery, segregation and lynchings" were democrat programs.
Democrats are instructed, Republicans can think for themselves. The democrat party has become a cult, with Obama as the new Jim Jones!
King George tried to confiscate guns but the plan blew up in his face!

Why the 2nd Amendment

"The prospect of tyranny may not grab the headlines the way vivid stories of gun crime routinely do. But few saw the Third Reich coming until it was too late. The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed - where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once." Judge Alex Kozinski
Of course it won't work and the liberals don't expect it to work. When it fails they can come back and demand even more. Don't believe for an instant that they wouldn't ban all guns right now if they could, and then they can start working on knives with sharp points.
The other nine amendments in the Bill of Rights are individual rights, setting limits on government power. Why could anyone believe that the second amendment is different?

Republicans Need to Reach Minorities

Minority Americans have the opportunity, it is hard to help people who manage to spend 12 years in school, at great taxpayer expense, and still can't read or handle basic math.
