Do not forget the saying that a specialist knows a lot about nothing and a generalist knows a little bit about everything. We need some people on staff in the White House who take time to actually review the issues.

It was a time of partisan division--the fiscal cliff and the debt limit fights. The economic recovery was anemic at best. Your calls for unity in confronting those challenges were fervent.
