The government does charge us a premium for medicare too, they deduct it from my tiny SS check every month. If medicare paid my Doctors what they charged, it would not be enough, but they pay around $64 of a $150 doctor visit charge ( which I do think is excessive) and I avoid going unless it is a necessity.

It's true my home is paid for, BUT, the cost of utilities, food, insurance, property taxes, and medicine have all skyrocketed and cost as much as if I were making house payments in the past. At the time in 1985 when we bought the house, poroperty taxes were $200 and insurance was $250 a year, our insurance now costs $2,750 and taxes are $750. Our house payments were only $300 a month. And our income has dropped tremendously. We are living on our savings and the little Social security checks we receive.

I have a young girl living with her boyfriend in an old trailer near me. She is always coming by to use the phone, bum cigs from my husband, or ask for some work. If I have work, I get her to do it, no just hand over money. She is willing to work, but if I can do it myself, I do, I am basically retired and so is my husband. I have worked my whole life, never relying on the work of others for my support, and what little social security I do get, the government takes out $110 a month for medicare. I feel like I am paying for my healthcare, especially when I get one of my insurance statements and see how little medicare actually pays! It is a miracle doctors will see us.

With the mass exodus to Urban and suburban living, a buffalo is sort of a zoo animal. Unless they actually read American History in school, they would not understand the significance of the buffalo and the danger and food source for native Americans that it used to be. Just like cows, which come in neat little cellophne packages all ready to cook at the store. Etc. The HSUS is trying to phase those out too.

You summed up a useless life perfectly, just go along to get along like a lemming, and we know where they all end up, right ?

I love fresh goat milk, it is wonderful for you, but the state where I live and probably all states, will not allow it to be sold without being Pastuerized for human consumption. This removes a lot of the nutrishion and taste from it. I bought it to feed my puppies and they do wonderfully on it. Cows milk can make puppies sick. Just a clue.

I am really sick of the stupid pictures they keep putting on of both of these men. The true picture of Trayvon should be of a nearly grown man of 17 over 6 feet tall and the one of Zimmerman is old too, He is much less chubby now., and actually looks like a smaller person. Not that any of the news media want to show reality! Funny how they leave stuff out when it suits their wiley purposes to stir up a %$*t pot.

Homeless dogs, or unwanted strays, are often euthanized and put into the food chain for other dogs, including the chemicals required to euthanize them. They do not normally get into the human food chain. I do not know much about genetically engineered food, but messing with Mother Nature has always been a call for some scientifically minded people. They clone dogs too, but I have not seen much in the news anymore about cloning, I think there's a glitch in it. There are so many IMPORTANT things like the HUGE DEBT and HUGE UNEMPLOYMENT this country is in, minor things ( to me) like this are insignificant!

Without thinking too far ahead, the Animal rights lobby got a no slaughter bill passed, creating thousands of homeless and starving horses, abandoned by people who had no home or money to care for them. I guess being hit by cars or starving is better than a quick death at a USDA Inspected slaughter house instead of a long hard trip to Mexico and who knows what horrors there...I am not happy over horses being eaten, but it's better than the alternatives.
