Are you out of your freakin' mind, Prager (whom I've loved since the '90s)? A WORD disqualifies someone who is pro-life, against gay marriage, bullish on America and tells it like it is??? He's already explained himself and says he won't use it again. Personally, I kind of like a man who doesn't have handlers telling him what is expedient and to his advantage to say - and who learns from his misspeak. He's FOR every single thing we're for - and he's not afraid to say it boldly and passionately. BTW, may I remind you of Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment? It grieves me to see conservative writers and pundits joining the likes of Barrack Obama, Chris Matthews, Robin Williams, Lawrence O'Donnell, and their ilk in demeaning Mr. Trump. ...
You people need to get out of your ivory towers and mingle with the hoi poloi in the real world like me and practically everyone I know. The Trump phenomenon is growing by the day and nearly everyone I talk to is really, really, really liking what they're hearing from him. From the rest of the pack, all of them lifetime politicians - not so much. I defer to no one in my impeccable conservative credentials - I've been one since HS when I joined YAF in the early '60s, went on to become a Goldwater Girl, had dinner will Bill Buckley, exuberantly voted for Ronald Reagan, and then got drunk and voted for McCain. Sorry, right wing elites, but Trump is the guy we've been waiting for since the end of the Reagan era, and I, for one am fed up...

No Trump Bid

IF any of the current possible contenders was willing to confront Obama head on as boldly as Trump has - I'd support him enthusiastically. But they won't and don't and next to him they're ineffectual as dishwater. I defer to no one in my impeccable conservative credentials - member of YAF in the '60s, Goldwater girl, family friends (J. Daniel Mahoney and Kieran O'Doherty) founded the NY Conservative Party, I had dinner with William Buckley (sat right next to him), voted for Ronald Reagan and then got drunk and voted for McCain. I'm fed up with the tepid, timid mealy-mouthed GOP. If not Palin or Bachmann, then give me a real man. PLEASE!

You limp-wristed moderates will drag us down to defeat every time. I'm sick and tired of voting for a bland, boring (Pawlenty, who supported Cap and Tax, and Daniels couldn't be duller) lesser evil. How about a real man this time? TRUMP!
TRUMP.

If you can't pass the civil service exam - thank a member of the Teachers' Union!
How come no one has mentioned what EYE SORES these things are? Doesn't anyone care about the desecration of the magnificent vistas of our great western states, our oceans, and even Great Britain, whose classical buildings can now be glimpsed behind monstrosities that look like the invasion of alien life forms from The War of the Worlds? Too bad there's no virus that will take them down!

Kristol (whom I formerly respected) has joined the rest of the GOP who are embarrassed by Glenn Beck for the same reason they turn up their noses at Sarah Palin - they're not members of the inner sanctum and neither of them were turned out by Ivy League assembly lines. What they fail to understand is that is exactly why we, the hoi poloi of the Republican Party, have so gratefully embraced them - as we firmly reject the ruling elite of even the Right. We happen to believe that the operative principle ought to be about the veracity of the message rather than the arbitrary "suitability" of the messenger.

Great point about taking the boy out of Levittown - all the way to Manhasset, where he now resides, the snootiest, most status-conscious, pretentious wanna-be's of all the towns on Long Island. Remember that whenever "Billy" claims that he's just one of the "folks." Conservative? Don't make me laugh!

You must know whereof you speak, right? You've canvassed all the right winged of this country and have ascertained that NONE of them have adopted unwanted children, right? You know with certainty that NONE of them work at shelters, soup kitchens, hospices, counselling services, food and clothing drives, et al, right? Well, death to another despicable leftist smear of a stereotype because nearly every pro-life person in my experience has put her/his money where their mouth is - are you hearing me? Practically EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, in one way or another, labors on behalf of the lives we hold precious, whether it is through adoption or in supporting single mothers who have chosen to preserve the precious life of their precious...
