Criminalizing abortion is just another way conservatives try to control things they don't want to know are happening in this imperfect world. Unfortunately it is women who suffer. Women who are already having to face an awful decision as it is. So you're equating the kind of fighting that happens in pubs every night with the danger of sniper rifles? There's a significant difference between beating someone up and promoting assassination, dontcha think?
I'd be happy if she would just admit that what she did was wrong. Wannabe leaders will never do that though for fear of looking weak. When will we all say that it's ok for leaders to admit they screwed up.

The cross hairs and specific nature of pointing to people with a sniper rifle of palin's chart is worse. Both sides are guilty of some form of it. To think he would have killed regardless of all the hate speech is to give up on a possible solution to future violence.

In my experience university professors and the higher educated tend to be more liberal than not. The uneducated, less traveled, underprivileged white folk tend to be conservative. Unless you mean informed about nascar.
It's just that Navybrat immediately went to name calling with Horatio, a true second grade tactic. But I'm not surprised and do see it a lot here when there's little intelligent content to be said.

yes that's true. and what scare's me is that the more insensitive and lack of compassion a person has, the more capable he or she is of committing atrocious acts. All of this exaggeration desensitizes the masses and polarizes and even dehumanizes the "other" side.
