Ironic. Insult liberals/Progressives/Dems and then ask why we can't get along. "You are so stupid, why don't you like me?"

Unfortunately, a lot of people knee jerk against someone in a group they don't like. Not all liberal and not all conservatives.

Well not all do, but I try to. I don't think you should think the same as me. I like a lot of what conservatives have to offer, but I don't agree on every point. It does not mean that I think less of them, it does however make me want to understand them more. Not that they're wrong, I think our differences can make us a stronger nation.

Do you ever feel we get a better choice? It seems that from the time I was of age to vote it has always been the lesser of two evils.

I always wondered why the Republicans fielded such a weak group. I was expecting Bush, Christie or Rubio to step up. I think Rubio would have unified the Repubs a lot more than any of the others. Does anybody know why the stars of your party didn't come forward?

As a stoopid, kool-aid guzzling liberal may I ask a question? Again, not looking for a fight, looking for info, that's all. What is your vision of America? I know mileage will vary between people here, so the more that answer the better. I think I know some of what you want, but I don't know any conservatives to have a real discussion with, so I must needs turn to the people who hate me. Wasn't that NIxon? A Republican? In all seriousness, how do conservatives view Nixon? Do you consider him a RINO? On the whole, good or bad? I'm not asking for any reason other than curiosity, I don't hear much about him at all as we seem to bring up a lot of other presidents. Thanks

Certainly, Obamacare, which is just Romneycare on a larger scale. Personally, I think businesses shouldn't have to give their workers healthcare. I think it hurts businesses to have to spend more money on their business. Obama cut taxes on small businesses. Got rid of DADT

But I'm not from the side saying the polls are "skewed", I'm not from the party saying that the BLS plays with the unemployment numbers. I'm not from the side that thinks there's a war on Christmas because retail workers say "happy holidays" Reality may suck sometimes but sticking my head in the ground won't change it. We see the world from different places and different viewpoints. If you want to attack me fine, but I like proof, I like logic. I asked on another thread why I should vote for Romney and all I get is he's not Obama. Again, about half the people in the USA like Obama. If all you have is your hate why do you expect them to change their minds?
