This is less about "gender equality" than about the diminishment of our military ethos and capabilities. Look at the senior officers who are being cashiered, most for nothing much in the larger scheme of things. Look at General Mattis, being relieved of his command early. This is about the deliberate destruction of the US military. In 10 years, we'll be as combat ready as the Danish!

yupper. this is all about 3 things really. number one is as you say, the agenda of a anti-american potus. number 2 is the using of women to get there and number 3 (the most disheartening of all) is the willingness of women to put themselves before society and the country. what a mess this once great land is becoming.

The first line of attack in political battles is language. Getting people to phrase things your way is the first step to getting them to think your way.

In the foggy mess of the debate over women in combat, you will see media references to a “ban” being “lifted.”

Bans are bad. Lifting bans is good. Therein lies the bias strangling this issue in the dominant media culture.
