My first introduction to Beck was his book, "An Inconvenient Book" and to be honest I didn't care for it very much. It was so full of sarcasm that it became a challenge to figure out when he was being serious and when he was joking.

However, I really enjoy his show. He asks questions that no one else in the media dares to ask. What is so evil about asking reasonable questions about what our government is doing? What is so evil about asking, "how are we going to pay for project X?" Or what is so evil about asking, "Did anyone realize that person Y is a proud member of this organization?" Or, "I know the White House said this bill will cost $Z dollars, but what about this other study that said it will cost 10x that?"
