Yet another fact that makes TEA_CRACKER cry: According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, only between 4 and 7% of all guns that are used in a crime are lawfully owned. But according to TEA_CRACKER, adding a law that bans magazines that hold more than 10 bullets will somehow magical crime rates down.

But in addition to that fact, about 99.8% of legal gun owners never use their guns in the commission of a crime. So there is an EXTREMELY minute percentage of law abiding gun owners who are ever involved in criminal activities where they use one of their legally owned guns. The term "lawfully" owned can be a little misleading. You could have a situation where two guys live together. One of them owns a gun and the other does not. The one who does not own the gun is prone to criminal activity. He "borrows" the gun from his roommate and commits a crime. That gun is, "technically", lawfully owned by the first guy. The criminal may even be in legal possession of the gun until he actually commits the crime. There are some variables involved.

That list has since grown to include Marco Rubio, Ron Johnson, Mike Enzi, Jerry Moran, Jim Inhofe, Richard Burr, Jim Risch, Mike Crapo, Dan Coats, Pat Roberts and most recently, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said he would join a group of Senate Republicans threatening a filibuster to oppose a cloture vote if Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid moves a gun bill to...
