What "ails" the Church on Earth is the enormous fragmentation caused by Protestant spiritual anarchy. Many Protestants are good and faithful Christians, but the denominational anarchy, and the gradual abandonment of biblical Christianity by many denominations like the Episcopal Church, points toward the necessity of the spiritual unity of the ancient Orthodox Christian faith. When your churches embrace the sinful ways of the world, know that the Orthodox Church always remains true, serving as a safe harbor for those in treacherous spiritual waters. God bless.

Most of America's problems are cultural. Even our economic problems stem from the cultural rejection of personal responsibility and the acceptance of collective responsibility. And none of our problems would be as bad if the church was still shaping the culture instead of merely responding to it. I was reminded of this during my annual holiday trip home to The Woodlands, Texas.
