Whale, you chose to say what I refrained from (out of gratitude for what McShame did many years ago). However, now that you HAVE opened the door, I really believe ol' John is genuinely obtuse. I don't think it's early (well, it ain't THAT early for him) senility, but a simple case of a guy without a whole lotta smarts, who became the perfect foil for the left.

Exactly how do corporations come to declare for a specific candidate, anyhow? Do they put it to a vote, with each person from workers to suits having an equal voice, followed by majority rule? I rather doubt that. The politics of a WalMart in the Deep South would naturally be distinctively different from one in Boston. So who calls the shots, probably Ceo & BoDs.

The fix was in on McCain...crossover Dems is what got that clown on our ticket, and M/F was one of the overriding factors in our revulsion to mr. "My friends, I always try to reach across to my friends on the left, my friends."
