No Poking President at Facebook

I was thinking of cancelling my facebook account. I know I will now.
The identity politics of the left on display. Who cares about Wasserman? She's probably just mad that her grandmother couldn't get an abortion. At least if you believe people like her and Whoopi on the issue.

To believe that the government is chivalrous and protects the vulnerable (women and children and the disabled) is to believe in the government as a god, for it would have to be all knowing and seeing.

Republicans should and used to believe in the power of the individual to make a difference, etc.

As a woman, am I to be scorned and abused verbally by those who's help I do not want nor ask for? The fact I do not want government sponsored anything in my life does not make me less as a person, but...

Yet, the message of this post will fall on deaf eyes?

Many contemporary commentators both secular and religious comment on the emptiness of today's person. When we drift from God and knowledge of God it is supplemented with man made, self directed knowledge. When that knowledge fails us, it fails to provide comfort and ability to further direct us. Many people wander in the bewilderness with wounded souls, and the new pop religion does nothing to help.

Christopher Lasch and Allen Bloom both commented on the ignorance of history, religion, and the emptiness of today's western culture.

It is possible to follow the ten commandments and still have fun and enjoy life.
We don't fight back because deep down we believe that we are still a nation that has respect for laws and authority. People usually only fight back in self defense that are otherwise law abiding. We don't know exactly how to fight back against a perceived strong cental government (or tyrannical tendancies) because the last time we did so, it led to a war, which everyone likes to avoid, especially an internal one. Trying to use the legal system for political ends is a favorite tactic of the left, and anethama to constitutional government.

I suspect the McCrystal story is emblematic of a larger problem the president has and will have. He is an inflexible leader, who either has to use force to exert his will, or back down and look...

Because better men wouldn't have the stomach to force his fellow man to do things he won't do in his private world. Like dial the thermostat down and drive a little bitty car.

Obama's advisers, old and new, are socialists, and socialism leads to totalitarianism if not checked because it ultimately leads to using force to get cooperation. They are that sure of being right. Liberalism is not a friend of the cult of death for nothing. Imperfection drives them crazy.

Either he will increase presidential power (domestically) that is new to the office (his enemies list is similar to Nixon), or the press and citizens, especially the states will block him.

He may be a three year lame duck. If we are lucky.

Wrong...
Before all this health care babble, I thought Pelosi was actually Peloski, and Polish, not Italian. I thought she was an unfunny version of those old ethnic jokes.

there will be more celebrating than just among the elites and media snobs.

The is the most subdued celebration I have ever seen for a major victory. The people have been much more involved and engaged unlike previous scandals of Watergate and Monicagate because those did not personally effect every citizen.

This has been almost like a sporting event to watch, where those who followed, looked up the rules and history of the game. The people have a much more vested interest in this than Clinton's sex life.

I think it will have more legs than those supporting would like to think. At least I hope so, because it is now becoming a part of each person's life. There isn't anyway of ignoring its existance like those in...

Obama Signs Health Care Bill

prisons will be located?

If I don't pay my property tax, the govt takes my property. Same for income tax.

I only have to pay property taxes and income taxes as long as I have property and a job.

I will have to pay every year for the privilege of not being dead.

If I cannot pay because I am a terrible money manager regardless of my income, I like to spend more than I make (it is the current American way, hence the underwater housing and high bankruptcy rate), how long do I go to jail?
If I file bankruptcy, does it include health care debts?

When I get out, I will have probably lost my job, so I am now eligible for that fully subsidized policy. What happened to the debt I didn't pay? Does it come out...
Joe Biden can call wealth distribution scattering manure if he'd like, but it still does not meet the definition of fair.

In order to have a meeting of the minds, the words used must imply and understanding by the parties involved.

Nowhere in the definition of fair (which has considerable coverage in Merriam-Webster's online resource, is there an indication that when all the people of one country have the same amount of material goods, life is fair.

There is absolutely no way to make diversity and fairness relate to each other in the way liberals currently use both terms.
The bottom line of the study is that atheist liberal males are so smart they can fool women and around.

What exactly were their counterparts? Athiest, conservative males, or religious conservative males, or religious liberal males? I'm not clear on the combination.

Here is a quick all you need to know lesson on the field of evolutionary psychology: everything humans do can be explained by survival: emotions, sex, etc.

My take: men sleep around a lot because they don't have babies, and possibly liberal athiests have no moral or guilt qualms about it. It doesn't make the 6 to 11 point IQ relevent to anything. Harry S. Truman didn't trust men who cheated on their wives. I don't either, nor women who cheat on...
