There Ought Not to Be a Law

There is an undeniable urge on the part of a significant number of human's who aspire to imparting their opinions on others. The vast majority of people are too busy living their own lives to pay much attention to what those people do. One needs no better example as to how invasive and destructive such people are than living in a home that is part of a homeowners organization in which you will find the closest and most obvious examples of how overbearing blow-hearts can take minute amounts of power and use it in illogical and subversive ways. Projecting such abuse of power to a state or federal level with the incredible amount of money and control that is available explains everything about what type of people end up dictating our lives.

I know what you mean. It is blowhards, not blow hearts btw.

That was intentional. The most destructive people are those who believe in their hearts that they are right and need to inflict those beliefs onto others.

I see. I am President of my homeowners association. I think often someone is made a member of a board or an officer, having never held a responsible position before and it goes to their head.

The former Pres. used to go around in his car and cite people for leaving their garbage cans in sight. I work on larger issues.

I’m a libertarian in part because I see a false choice offered by the political left and right: government control of the economy -- or government control of our personal lives.

People on both sides think of themselves as freedom lovers. The left thinks government can lessen income inequality. The right thinks government can make Americans more virtuous. I say we’re best off if neither side attempts to advance its agenda via government.

Let both argue about things like drug use and poverty, but let no one be coerced by government unless he steals or attacks someone....
