Great column today. I agree with all you have said. I worry that with all the things out there (twitter, facebook, various blog pages), keeping our attention focused is harder than ever. So many distractions and so many ways to get out there and make a difference it's really hard to decide where to start. I have personally started in the breakroom at work. Talking to as many people as I can about where I think we are and where we are going. Something that gives me hope is that a couple of the Prog supporters here at work have recently become way way less gung-ho for "The One". To quote Jason Nesmith: "Never give up, never surrender"
Growing up a friend (?) was playing around with a BB gun. The knd you can shake and hear them rattling around. I told him not to aim it at me. His response was "It's empty (shake, shake, shake) See?" I still have a small scar on the back of me left hand from that "empty" BB gun. He went home that day with a fat lip. There are indeed no empty guns!
Never been a gun owner. Not because I have anything against them. Just never really thought I needed one. My mind is changing. Talking to some of the guys at work about getting a hand gun strictly for home defense. Every single one of them recommended taking a basic training course wherever I buy it. Almost all legal gun owners are responsible folks that own for hunting, pleasure (target shooting) AND self defense. Think I'm gonna join the group. Pray to God I never have to use it.
Agreed. Letterman should fade into the sunset and let "G.P and the Ferg" have that slot
Barney Fife..............I don't know. BHO reminds me of him. Only 1 bullet and he used it on OBL. If we could just get Otis to lock him in the cell till Nov. LOL
You give mankind way way too much credit. This planet has been here long before man and will be here long after we are gone. What you are saying is kinda like worring that a single flea is gonna kill that elephant.
Truth be told, I do shop at Walmart regularly. It does indeed save my family money (which is tight now). I wish they would revert back to the way they used to be: MADE IN AMERICA but I guess I can't have it both ways. Made in china = more money in my pocket. Made in America = more opertunities (read: JOBS) for my fellow Americans. This really is a conundrum. What to do, what to do?
can you say "coat-tails"

"it's a rarity to find someone claiming to be a Christian yet who delights in uncivil behavior" so, judging by your post of: "Perhaps you could join Ransom and the rest of the knuckle dragging mouth breathing Neanderthals in pretend-land" and the fact that most anybody would consider that comment uncivil, you must be saying that you are not a Christian? awaiting your reply............
