If someday, we're living in a more utopian world where homicide is no longer the #1 cause of death for women after car accidents, then we could look at reforming VAWA. The reality is that women are still killed and abused by their spouses and partners. It's not like some 50-50 thing where women are equally abusive. Find me some real stats and evidence that shows that and then Schlalfy can talk. Until then, she's dismissive of the enormous problem of men still far outnumbering women in domestic abuse and homicide against their partners.
