I don't have a problem with Akin. I completely understand his belief that the standard "rape, incest, health of the mother" exception to abortion is bogus. I agree that his communicated it poorly, but I can't argue with his sentiment. If abortion is murder, isn't it still murder in those circumstances. To say that you're opposed to abortion EXCEPT-seems slightly hypocritical to me. If murder is wrong, it's always wrong.
