The simple explanation for the trouble we're in is too many people entrusted with the decision making process take the easy way out every time. Obamacare is an ideal candidate for a constitutional amendment, but that takes time and effort. now that we see the damage it's doing to the country, there will probably be some good legislation that doesn't get passed because of the precidence.

Ever heard of Dahlia Lithwick? No? Don’t feel bad. I hadn’t either until I read her piece of … something or other … on Slate about the Supreme Court hearing this week on Obamacare.

A quick Google search turned up her Wikipedia entry, which tells me she’s a Canadian and contributing editor at Newsweek and senior editor at Slate. In other words, a committed leftist.
