What we saw on Dec. 31st was typical of what to expect, a last second tax hike of 256 billion dollars accompanied by 540 billion in new political pork spending. And that was what's known as "balanced". We should encourage our representatives, especially the freshmen democrats, who didn't vote on the 1/2 trillion in new pork, to keep their campaign promises and represent their districts. Anyone who thinks the 1/2 trillion is going to be spent on the items promised is themself "shovel ready".

How about we kidnap a liberal politician, and tar and feather him for theft of the taxpayer's "dime." Make an example of him. maybe when his liberal buddies feel the heat, they'll begin to see the light.

You can't just make up facts!

"What we saw on Dec. 31st was typical of what to expect, a last second tax hike of 256 billion dollars"

IF you are referring to the 2% SS went back up, that was also compliments of the GOP by not allowing the tax holiday to continue.

"accompanied by 540 billion in new political pork spending"

the number $540 billion does not pop in a google search, so......
flapping gums I assume.

There are some "proposals" you just don't want to hear about on Valentine's Day.  President Obama's are among them.

That's because the National Taxpayer's Union has come out with a line by line analysis of the President's SOTU proposals and found their total cost to be a whopping $83.4 billion increase in federal spending.

Don't worry, though -- President Obama doesn't plan for any of them to increase the deficit "by a single dime" . . . because he just wants to raise more taxes.
