Matt in N.C. : Gov. Romney and I are fellow members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I confess, when he began he run with other Republican candidates, I was cautiously optimistic. I wanted him to have a "decent showing". I wasn't sure he would make it through to the Republican nomination (after all, he didn't in 2008). But, as he continued his momentum until he secured the Republican nomination, somehow, I felt this time could be DIFFERENT. Given his experience with the many Republican debates, I felt a calmness that he could use those opportunites to true effect. I was not disappointed as he put the President on the defense, and "blinded him with facts". I truly believe Gov. Romney is willing to devote his efforts, if

In our religious faith, the United States is considered "the Promised Land", a land blessed by The Lord. We, as inhabitants of this great nation, must serve the God of this land, or be swept off. From The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ:
Ether 2:10

10 For behold, this is a land which is choice above all other lands; wherefore he that doth possess it shall serve God or shall be swept off; for it is the everlasting decree of God. And it is not until the fulness of iniquity among the children of the land, that they are swept off.

. . .elected POTUS, to do EXACTLY what he has promised to put our great country on the right path. I believe he truly loves this country! I think, that, with Gov. Romney, "what you see is what you get"!

Last week I sent Mitt a note encouraging him not to morph into a McCain-like wuss during the debate. I think he got my email because he Buford Pussered Obama. It was embarrassing. The president looked defeated--head down, busted.

The greatest joy I had the night of the debate didn’t come from watching the erudite Mormon verbally skin the evasive Marxist for 90 minutes. No, it came after the debate as I watched the talking heads over on MSLSD melt down like the bad witch on the Wizard of Oz.

Good Lord, man. Maddow, Matthews, Sharpton and Schultz...
