I wanted him to have a "decent showing". I wasn't sure he would make it through to the Republican nomination (after all, he didn't in 2008). McCain doesn't have the business background Romney has. And I don't think it's his nature to be mean-spritied. That said, he needs to keep pounding away at BHO's economy record, get some specifics about job production, and speak out on those "troubling items (like the 47%--people have a hard time hearing the truth).
