In our religious faith, the United States is considered "the Promised Land", a land blessed by The Lord. We, as inhabitants of this great nation, must serve the God of this land, or be swept off. Matt in N.C. : Gov. Romney and I are fellow members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I confess, when he began he run with other Republican candidates, I was cautiously optimistic. I wanted him to have a "decent showing". I wasn't sure he would make it through to the Republican nomination (after all, he didn't in 2008). But, as he continued his momentum until he secured the Republican nomination, somehow, I felt this time could be DIFFERENT. Given his experience with the many Republican debates, I felt a calmness that he could use those opportunites to true effect. McCain doesn't have the business background Romney has. And I don't think it's his nature to be mean-spritied. That said, he needs to keep pounding away at BHO's economy record, get some specifics about job production, and speak out on those "troubling items (like the 47%--people have a hard time hearing the truth).
